Munster suffered at the hands of Glasgow on the road in the Ultimate Rugby Championship.
Glasgow overtook Munster in the Ultimate Rugby Championship as a result of their 13-11 victory at home on Friday evening.
Munster have two games in hand to rectify this as they currently sit in fifth but with the ability to go first should they pick up BP wins in those matches.
The two sides battled it out in gusty, wet conditions. Both teams were able to display a high level of rugby despite these difficulties.
A block down from Glasgow lock Scott Cummings saw the Scottish side go under the iron at the end of the first half for a 10-3 lead.
Jean Kleyn was the Munster try scorer as he crossed the line at 72 minutes, in an attempt to spark a comeback as Munster came within two of their hosts.
But Jack Crowley was unable to add the extra two with the wind catching the ball off the tee as Glasgow held on.
