Liam MacCarthy available for Primary School visits as Limerick step up Championship preparations

The Liam MacCarthy is set to be seen across the county’s primary schools over the coming months.

Each year after the All-Ireland championship, one of the highlights for the winning county is the parading of the Liam MacCarthy title around the primary schools.

However, Limerick have been robbed of that chance for both of their 2020 and 2021 successes due to the Covid pandemic and restrictions.

This is set to change with the Liam MacCarthy now available to schools over the next two months.

Schools wishing to have the Liam McCarthy Cup visit your school need to complete the form below.

However, the members of the county side that helped secure the title will not be available to visit due preparations for upcoming championship commencing in April.

Limerick begin their championship with a trip to Pairc Ui Chaoimh to face Cork in the opening round of the Munster Championship on April 17.Nonetheless, this is a not to be missed opportunity for schools.
