WATCH | Roisin Ambrose looks ahead to Sunday’s League Final

Limerick captain Roisin Ambrose looks ahead to Sunday’s League final with Offaly.

For Limerick star Roisin Ambrose, Sunday’s league final is another opportunity for silverware.

Last month, the Old Mill native was an All-Star on the UL team that won the O’Connor cup.

Ambrose starred at centre back for her college but for the county she captains the side in midfield.

She has been a mainstay of the side since she burst onto the scene during the 2018 All-Ireland winning campaign.

Reflecting on the semi final win over Fermanagh, Ambrose praised the side in getting over the line.

“Goals win games and we saw that against Fermanagh who are a superb side. Thankfully we came out with the win.”
