Saturday Fixtures | Newcastle West look to maintain 100% record in penultimate round

Five games will take place across all football championship levels in Limerick on Saturday.

The group stages of the Limerick football championships are coming to their final breath as round four continues on Saturday evening.

In the SFC, Newcastle West look to make it four wins from four as they face Claughaun in Mick Neville Park. First place seems to be up for grabs between Newcastle West and Fr. Casey’s and the side will be looking to make no mistake against a temperamental Claughaun side who are 1-1-1 thus far.

In group two, Galtee Gaels face Kildimo-Pallaskenry, two sides that have matching records. KP will have the momentum ahead of the clash after they’re historic win against Ballylanders last week while Galtee Gaels tasted defeat against leaders St. Kieran’s.

In group one of the Intermediate Football Championship, St. Senan’s will look to make it three wins in a row against Glin after last week’s walkover against Bruff. Group two throws up an interesting battle between Rathkeale and Mungret St. Pauls with only point difference separating sides in 2nd and 3rd.

Lastly, group 2 of the Premier JAFC sees two sides with matching records go head-to-head as Feenagh-Kilmeedy and Cappamore do battle in Kilbreedy.
