The side were 4-1 winners over UCD in the quarter-final to book their place in the last-four.
With four teams left in the 2022 FAI Cup, Treaty United are outsiders according to the bookmakers to get their hands on the trophy.
Treaty’s position is unsurprising with the remaining three sides in consideration including two Premier Division sides and Waterford who were in the top tier as recently as last season.
Derry City, who Treaty face in the semi-final, are the tournament favourites with their odds being priced at 8/11 after their 3-1 victory over Premier Division leaders Shamrock Rovers.
They are followed by Shelbourne who are 11/5 with their opponents and First Division side Waterford FC coming in third with 9/2 odds.
FAI Cup Odds
- Derry City 8/11
- Shelbourne 11/5
- Waterford FC 9/2
- Treaty United 14/1
The semi-finals of the FAI Cup will take place on the 16th of October and are set to be shown live on RTE Two. Kick off in Treaty United’s game will be 2pm with other fixture following at 4:45pm.
The Limerick outfit will be on a high after their quarter-final heroics against UCD where the side won 4-1 thanks to an Enda Curran hat-trick with Willie Armstrong also getting his name on the scoresheet.
It is Treaty’s first time reaching this stage of the competition in only their second ever season.
Until then, attention will turn to the domestic league with Treaty currently nine points clear of Wexford FC in the final play-off spot.
