FIXTURES | Semi-final fixtures in Limerick Senior, Intermediate and Junior Football Championships confirmed

The quarter-finals in the Limerick Senior, Intermediate and Junior Football Championships were played over the weekend.

The semi-final fixtures in the top four tiers of Limerick football have been confirmed after the weekend’s quarter-finals.

In the Senior Football Championship, the semi-finals have been moved to Sunday October 23. Defending champions Newcastle West take on Monaleen, who defeated St Kierans over the weeeknd, in a repeat of last year’s semi-final. On that occasion, NCW were one point victors. they meet in Askeaton on Sunday October 23 at 1pm.

In the other semi-final fixture, 2021 runners up Adare meet Fr Caseys, who picked up a first quarter-final win in fourteen-years on Saturday. Newcastle West hosts the fixture at 4pm on October 23.

In the Intermediate Championship, the semi-finals will be played on differing weekends with Drom Broadford in the Junior A hurling quarter-finals this weekend. In the football, they take on St Senans in an all-West derby on Sunday October 16 at 3pm in Newcastle West.

This Saturday, Mungret St Pauls meet Na Piarsaigh in the first semi-final with Claughaun hosting the fixture at 3pm.

The Premier Junior Football semi-finals will also be played on different weekends, starting with the clash of Croom and Feenagh Kilmeedy this Sunday before Cappamore meet Castlemahon on Saturday week.

Both of the Junior A semi-finals take place this Sunday with Mungret St Pauls meeting Camogue Rovers and Granagh Ballingarry taking on Hospital Herbertstown.
