The Shannonsiders booked their place in the quarters with a game to spare following wins over Longford and Carlow, with the latter also advancing to the last eight.
Limerick will face Laois in the quarter-finals of the 2023 Tailteann Cup after the draw was made on Morning Ireland this Monday. The time or date has not been finalised but the game will be held this weekend in the TUS Gaelic Grounds.
It is likely it will act as a double header with the Sam Maguire fixture between Cork and Mayo at the same venue on Saturday afternoon, that games throws in at 2pm.

Limerick did lose in their final game, falling to Wicklow in a dead rubber while Laois overcame Fermanagh by two points on Saturday in the preliminary quarters.
All the quarter-final fixtures will take place this weekend with the semi-finals down for decision the following Sunday. The Tailteann Cup final will be held on July 15 in Croke Park.
