ODDS | Limerick remain championship favourites with Aaron Gillane the frontrunner for the HOTY award

After his tour de force in the Munster final, Aaron Gillane is the bookies favourite to claim the Hurler of the Year award.

After their titanic Munster final encounter, Limerick and Clare are favourites to meet once again in the All-Ireland final next month in Croke Park.

Limerick remain the team to beat, capturing a fifth Munster title on the trot for the first time in the county’s history.

John Kiely and his men will now have their sights on becoming just the third side to claim four successive Liam MacCarthy titles and are priced at 10/11 to do just that.

The Banner edge Kilkenny in the Paddy Power odds despite the Cats winning a fourth successive Leinster title. Clare can be got at 7/2 while the Leinster champions are just back at 9/2.

Tipperary, who are the last team to win the All-Ireland outside of Limerick, are at 13/2 ahead of their encounter with the Tribesmen this weekend.

Next in the list are beaten provincial finalists Galway, who were pipped at the defeat by Kilkenny. They are priced at 11/1 to claim a first title since 2017. Dublin can be got at 80/1 to claim the championship ahead of their clash with Clare.

After a starring role in the win over Offaly, Jake Morris can be got at 14/1 with seven players priced at 16/1 including Limerick trio Diarmaid Byrnes, Kyle Hayes and Barry Nash.
