It has been a difficult couple of years for the senior side who were relegated from the top tier of the league last year. However, there were some bright spots from this year’s campaign with wins over Offaly ensuring safety in the league firstly before ensuring they would stave off the relegation play offs in the championship.

Under his tutelage, Limerick also reached the 2022 All-Ireland Senior Camogie quarter finals for only the second time in fifteen years.

In their announcement, Limerick Camogie said they are seeking a candidate with ‘excellent communication skills, ability to create a positive environment and leadership qualities’ among other things.
