Nash and Crowley try scorers as Ireland smash Italy | HIGHLIGHTS

As the clock ticked down Nash put the cherry on top, the Limerick native collecting from Jamison Gibson-Park and slaloming his way through the Italian defenders to cross.

Munster’s Calvin Nash scored his second Guinness Men’s Six Nation’s try in as many games on Sunday, as Ireland thumped Italy with an emphatic 36-0 bonus-point victory at the Aviva Stadium.

Andy Farrell’s men now have two wins from two in the competition, after last week’s impressive victory away in France, and they will now set their sights on Wales.

Jack Crowley went over for his first ever Ireland try, and the Munster man was involved in a wonderful move for his country’s second, ending with Dan Sheehan touching down.

Jack Conan powered his way over with minutes left in the first-half, and Ireland went in with a 19-0 lead at the break.

With ten minutes gone in the second-half, Sheehan would cross once more, this time securing a valuable bonus-point for his country.

Ireland’s fifth try was a result of an unstoppable run from James Lowe, who couldn’t seem to be halted by the Italian defence, and eventually squirmed over the line.

As the clock ticked down Nash put the cherry on top, the Limerick native collecting from Jamison Gibson-Park and slaloming his way through the Italian defenders to cross.

A resounding win for Farrell’s men, who look in great shape to go all the way in this year’s Six Nations.
