Chambers kept his third clean sheet of the season in Friday night’s 0-0 draw with Cork City, aided by O’Riordan.
Treaty United duo Corey Chambers and Ben O’Riordan have been named in the League of Ireland First Division Team of the Week.
The Limerick club are joined by UCD and Wexford in having two representatives in the side, with Cork City, Kerry, Bray Wanderers, Longford Town and Athlone Town boasting one.
Chambers kept his third clean sheet of the season in Friday night’s 0-0 draw with Cork City, aided by O’Riordan, who has appeared in all five of the Shannonsiders’ First Division outings this year.
Tommy Barrett’s men kept pace with league leaders Cork City last Friday, as the sides played out a 0-0 at Markets Field.
The result leaves United three points from the summit, having played one game less following the postponement of their clash with Longford.
3,146 fans entered Markets Field to watch what promised to be a thrilling encounter, with Treaty arguably the better of the two sides on the night.
The Limerick outfit battered their Cork opposition with chance after chance, but were unable to turn home.
It was a night in which the Treaty defence would have to stand strong, with Chambers producing several eye catching saves on a busy night.
Another point gained for the Shannonsiders, who remain unbeaten, and host Finn Harps this coming Friday.
Fans will be expected to ‘Fill the Field’ once more, and tickets can be got here.
