Limerick name U20 football team for Munster ‘B’ final | TEAM NEWS

Limerick U20 football boss Shane Kelly has named his starting XV as his side prepare to take on Waterford in the EirGrid Munster Championship B Final this Wednesday.

This marks the first edition of the competition, and the winners will be rewarded with a place in the All-Ireland series.

Kelly’s men got the better of their opponents when they met in the group phase, winning by the minimum on a score of 2-07 : 2-06.

The action is set to kick off at 7pm in Mallow, with the Shannonsiders naming a strong side for the final.

Newcastle West’s Aaron Neville captains the team from centre-forward, his club-mate John Whelan is named at wing-back.

Craig Macinnes is set to start in goal while Craig O’Connell, Jason Hassett and Paddy Downey complete the full-backline in front of him.

Neville captains from centre-forward, lining out alongside Senan O’Brien and Michael Long, while Ronan Quirke and Conal O Duinn complete a full-forward line that sees Micheal Fahy named at 14.
