13 Limerick players nominated for U21 hurling team of the year

A hugely successful year for Limerick U21’s in which they claimed a stellar All Ireland title has seen them dominate the nominations both the player and team of the year category.

While a total of 13 Limerick players are nominated for the team of the year, Kyle Hayes, Aaron Gillane, Peter Casey and Sean Finn are all nominated for the player of the year with Kilkenny’s Conor Delaney.

The list of nominations are as follows with Limerick leading the way.

    • 4 Cork
    • 3 Westmeath
    • 2 Wexford and Derry
    • 1 Tipperary
    • The final selection is to be announced on Newstalk’s Off The Ball Facebook page on Monday 2nd of October with the judging panel of Ger Cunningham, Mícheál Ó Domhnaill, Joe Canning and Ken McGrath.
