All of the events monies will go towards charity

Following on from superb success the event had last year, where €13,500 was raised for charity, the AIPO IPO National Charity Championships will take place again this year.

This year, the charity that will benefit from the funds raised from the event is Heart Children Ireland.Heart Children Ireland work closely with Crumlin Childrebs hospital providing vital funds for new equipment and staff.

Crumlin is now performing cardiac surgeries on children from all over the Island of Ireland. You can visit their their website here for more info.

It is a raw classic and single ply, full power competition. All entries for the event are now full. Weigh ins take place today, Friday 17th with the championship getting under way tomorrow in Lpc – Gym limerick Powerlifting and bodybuilding gym in Kilmallock.
