Aisling Annacotty announce main sponsor for Liverpool Legends match

Aisling Annacotty Football Club have announced that The Millhouse Bar and Grill will be the main sponsor of the Aisling Annacotty vs Liverpool Legends game which is due to take place on Saturday, September 7th with a 2.30 pm kick-off.

The match will feature many legends from the famous English while a number of Aisling Annacotty legends are also due to feature on the day. The game will take place in Annacotty and is a fundraiser for the new community centre based at the club’s grounds which will be available to the club as well as all members of the local community.

Work is well underway on the new grass pitch right alongside the existing 4G astroturf pitch at Aisling Annacotty AFC’S grounds.

Aisling Annacotty chairman Jim Canny is excited about the event and welcomed the sponsorship from The Millhouse Bar and Grill.

“As a club, we are so proud to be bringing the Liverpool Legends to Limerick to play Aisling Annacotty.

This is to support our new community centre at the heart of the community, which can provide a meeting place for local community groups, local residents, active age groups and other youth groups, together with servicing the 900 or so members of our club in Annacotty

. I am delighted a local business The Millhouse Bar and Grill are on board and we look forward to working in partnership with them enhancing our community links.

Aisling Annacotty have also announced that tickets will be available to purchase from various local stores such as The Millhouse Bar and Grill, Monaleen, Stores, Chawke’s Filling Station, The Hurlers, Black Swan, The Still House and Tap House. Tickets will be priced at; Adult (10 Euro), Children (5 Euro) and familt tickets (2 adults and 2 kids is 25 Euro).

It was also revealed that Liverpool legend Jan Molby will manage the Liverpool team on the day. The likes of Ronnie Whelan, Paul Walsh and Alan Kennedy are also expected to attend the event.
