All you need to know as Munster aim to make it six from six tonight in Glasgow

Munster face Glasgow Warriors at Scotstoun tonight in the Guinness PRO14 as Johann van Graan’s side look to continue their strong start to the season that has seen the province win all five opening fixtures.

Remarkably, Munster and Glasgow have not met since the memorable 2018 clash between the sides when Rory Scannell kicked a last-minute penalty to secure a dramatic victory at Thomond Park.

Unbeaten Munster make the trip to Scotstoun full of confidence having won each of their opening five fixtures, which represents their best start to a campaign since 2008.

Danny Wilson’s Warriors will be confident that they can secure the victory having had the chance to rest-up last weekend after their game against Dragons was postponed. News of that postponement was confirmed two weeks ago with Warriors using the opportunity to fully focus on Monday night’s fixture.

A very difficult run of fixtures for Warriors has seen them fall to away losses against Connacht, Ospreys and Ulster with Leinster securing a hard-fought win in Glasgow.

They have beaten Scarlets however and will be hoping to use the clash with Munster as a springboard to kick-start their season.

Scotstoun has proven a great fortress for Glasgow down through the years but Munster have secured three victories at the ground with Monday Night Rugby set to deliver another cracking encounter.
