Ardscoil Ris overcome St Munchin’s to progress in Munster Schools Senior Cup

Ard Scoil Rís advanced to last eight of Clayton Hotels Munster Schools Senior Cup with a 10-5 win over St Munchin’s at the 4G pitch in UL.

Munchin’s opened the scoring with a try from Jack Murphy after seventeen minutes.

Darragh O’Gorman scored a try for Ardscoil just before half time which he also converted to give his side a 7-5 going into the break.

O’Gorman added a penalty early in the second half and that was ro be the final score of the game.

Ardscoil Ris will know their quarter-final opponents this evening, when the draw takes place following today’s play-off fixture between Castletroy College and Rockwell College.
