Arnold relishing Glasgow’s visit to Thomond Park

It’s been a good week for Sammy Arnold. He came off the bench to get on the scoresheet against Gloucester last Saturday and on Wednesday he was named in Joe Schmidt’s squad for the Autumn Internationals.

However, Irish talk is for another day and Arnold has his sight’s set firmly on the Pro14 fixture with big rivals Glasgow Warriors at Thomond Park on Saturday.

“There is a rivalry. They are a very competitive team and always around the top. They topped the group last year. I think it’s just two very passionate teams going out.

“We know that they are top of the group and we want to be there, so there is a bit of that but there definitely that rivalry there and it’s a game that you really look forward to.”
