Ballybrown see off Cork Champions to advance to Munster decider

Underdogs Ballybrown marched on in the Munster Junior B football championship following a 0-9 to 0-8 win after extra time against Argideen Rangers.

The Limerick champions couldn’t be separated from their Cork counterparts at fulltime as the sides finished 0-7 apiece.

It was just as close at the interval as the sides went in to the half with five points each.

Elsewhere the the knockout stages of the County Under 21 Football championship were confirmed following the weekends action.

Newcastle West and Rathkeale booked semi-final spots after finishing top of their respective groups.

While Adare will face Fr Casey’s and Oola will take on Monaleen in the quarter-finals.
