BREAKING | Limerick confirm new Senior Football Manager

The new manager won a county title in his native Mayo with Knockmore in 2021.

Limerick footballer’s search for a manager has come to an end with Ray Dempsey confirmed as new Bainisteoir.

The Mayo man takes the reigns on a two-year deal replacing Billy Lee who’s six year sting came to an end in August when he stepped down.

Dempsey’s management team is to be confirmed in the coming weeks.

Limerick will operate in Division Two of the League for the first time in 15 years next Spring after they earned a second promotion in three years in March.

They also reached a first Munster final in twelve years in June where they were beaten comprehensively by Kerry in Killarney. Cork brought their season to an end in the qualifiers.
