BREAKING: Na Piarsaigh duo set to miss All-Ireland Final after failed appeal

The GAA have confirmed that Na Pairsaigh’s Conor Boylan and Tommy Grimes will miss the All Ireland Final against Cuala due to suspension.

The two players were shown red in the semi-final victory over Slaughtneil last month but had appealed the decision.

Boylan was judged to have “kicked with minimal force” while Tommy Grimes was red carded for “striking with a hurley, with minimal force.”

This morning it was confirmed that the Central Competitions Control Committee have upheld the referee’s decision meaning that both players will miss the final on St Patrick’s Day in Croke Park.
