BREAKING: Treaty United’s play-off campaign to begin on November 3

New dates for the SSE Airtricity First Division play-offs have been announced.

Tommy Barrett’s men booked their place in the Division 1 play-offs with two games to spare in their maiden season. Their 1-1 draw with Athlone Town was enough to ensure their place in the top five.

Although, Treaty United do not know who they will face, they know the possible opponents. Currently the Limerick outfit lie in fourth place in the table two points clear of fifth place Bray Wanderers. Wanderers are four points ahead of Athlone and are also guaranteed to finish in the play-off positions.

UCD are currently three points ahead of Treaty with the sides meeting this weekend in their penultimate game. Galway United are six points clear of the students while Shelbourne were crowned league champions earlier this month after a win over Treaty in the capital.

In the play-offs, second plays fifth over two legs while third and fourth meet. On current standings, Treaty would face UCD.
