Brian Lohan “We came up against a really good team”

Despite returning a more than respectable tally of 1-23 and a masterful performance from Tony Kelly (0-17) Clare fell ten points short of Limerick in the end and will now face into the backdoor series.

In his post match interview, Clare manager Brian Lohan couldn’t fault hit players’ work rate and honesty on the day “I wouldn’t fault any of the players for their effort and their spirit, we just came up against a really good team”
