Bruff book their place in Munster Junior B Hurling Championship Final

The South side will have Thurles Sarsfields for company in the provincial final in three weeks time.

Bruff booked their place in the Munster Junior B Hurling Championship Final on Sunday afternoon as they defeated Sixmilebridge in Killeedy.

The Limerick champions grabbed a pair of second-half goals to secure a 2-8 to 0-10 victory over the Clare side. Man of the Match Diarmuid Dennehy was one of the goalscorers for Bruff as a quickfire double early in the second half helped them to the four-point victory.

They had trailed by the minimum, 0-5 top 0-6 at the half before overturning the deficit in the final half hour.

They will now move on to play Thurles Sarsfields in the final after the Tipp kingpins came through the challenge of Freemount in their semi-final tie.

The final is to be played on January 29th in Killeedy.
