Young Munster’s Calvin Nash has been added to Munster’s Champions Cup squad.
The winger has been added to the squad as a replacement for the injured Jaco Taute ahead of a crucial European and interpro period for the province over the next month.
Injuries to both Tatue and Chris Farrell as well Dan Goggin has meant that Munster’s midfield options have been curtailed this season. Taute suffered a knee injury back in October’s victory over the Cardiff blues while Farrell sustained a knock in Ireland’s victory over Argentina in the November series.
Nash scored his first try for the province away to Zebre in Parma two weeks ago while he also featured as a substitute in Munster’s win over the Ospreys in Cork last weekend.
Greencore Munster Rugby Academy player Calvin Nash has been added to our Champions Cup squad in place of the injured Jaco Taute ahead of Saturday's clash against Leicester Tigers at Thomond Park (7.45pm).
