Ciarán Carey has returned to club management after it was confirmed last night that he is the new manager of Patrickswell.
Carey, who managed the ‘Well to a county final in 2015, replaces Gary Kirby after he stepped down at the end of last season.
Patrickswell reached the semi final of the 2018 Limerick Senior Hurling Championship but lost to Doon by a point.
Carey heads up an all Patrickswell management team that also includes Natal O’Grady, Damien Gillane, Pa Earls and Declan O’Grady.
The ‘Well last won the SHC in 2016 under Kirby and Carey will be hoping to break Na Piarsiagh’s hold on the Daly Cup in 2019.
