Ireland Head Coach Joe Schmidt has named his matchday squad ahead of their second Pool A against Japan at the Ecopa Stadium in Shizuoka on Saturday.
There are a total of four changes to the starting XV that beat Scotland last weekend, Rob Kearney and Keith Earls get their starts, while Chris Farrell comes in for Bundee Aki in the centre.
Connacht’s Jack Carthy has been given the nod at 10, while Munster’s Joey Carbery has been selected as backup.
Five Munster players feature in the starting XV: Peter O’Mahony, CJ Stander, Conor Murray, Chris Farrell and Keith Earls. While David Kilcoyne and Tadgh Beirne are on the bench.
