Charity event in aid of Youth Mental Health to take place in Shannon

Jigsaw Youth Mental Health and Compass Child and Family Services are running a charity event in order to raise awareness about the collective role of communities in supporting positive mental health in young people, and they would like you to get involved.

On Saturday August 17th, both organisations have created a fun filled day for both adults and children at Munster Footgolf in Shannon, Co. Clare. There are a number of events taking place on the day including, a children and adults footgolf tournament and barbecue and a DJ will be present on the day.

Furthermore, there will be bouncing castles at the site along with plenty of extra games for children to engage with. Added to this, there will be many sports personalities present to add to the occasion. The event aims to raise funds for the organisation Jigsaw Youth Mental Health.

The organising committee led by Craig Madigan, are seeking sponsorship for the event. Any local businesses or individual wishing to get involved can sponsor prizes and tee boxes as well as becoming a main sponsor if they so wish. Also, money can be donated towards food and bouncing castles which will be essential for the event to run smoothly.

The Adult and Kids Footgolf tournament will begin at 9 o’clock on August 17th and if you are interested in donating or taking part or both, contact Craig Madigan (Compass Child and Family Services) on 0857857912.

Further details are below on the event poster.
