Limerick and Kilkenny meet in the decider on Sunday week.
Colm Lyons has been confirmed as the referee for the 2022 All-Ireland senior hurling final where Limerick will meet Kilkenny.
It will be a first final for the Corkman.
His umpires on the day will be Ciarán Hanley (Brian Dillons) and Johnny Barry (Ballinure), Philip Mackey and Finian Mullane (Nemo Rangers).
Galway’s Liam Gordon will be the standby referee. The other linesman is Paud O Dwyer (Carlow) and the Sideline Official will be Michael Kennedy (Tipperary).
Lyons has already taken charge of a pair of championship games involving the final opponents this year.
He was the man in the middle for the Munster clash between Limerick that ended in a draw as there was nothing to separate the teams for the second successive meeting.

Elsewhere, in this year’s Hurling Championship, Lyons has refereed Galway v Kilkenny in the Leinster championship, and the All Ireland Quarter Final between Wexford v Clare.
He also refereed National league matches between Waterford v Tipperary and Clare v Wexford this year.
