Competitive Hurling action returned to the county over the weekend with games in the Senior, Premier Intermediate, Intermediate and Junior Championships all up for decision.

Bon Secous Limerick Senior Hurling Championship

Defending Champions Patrickswell kicked off proceedings with a win over Adare on Thursday night. Kilmallock defeated Na Piarsaigh on Friday evening while Ballybrown and Monaleen were victorious in the Saturday night games.

Lyons of Limerick Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship

In the standout tie of the group, Mungret St Pauls overcame Kildimo Pallaskenry on Friday evening.

On Saturday night, Glenroe made a successful start to life in the grade while Bruff also picked up a victory.

There was nothing to separate Cappamore and Bruree on Sunday night.

Nick Greene Intermediate Hurling Championship

There were four games in the Intermediate Hurling Championship with wins for Na Piarsaigh, Newcastle West and Pallagreen while Croom and Granagh/Ballingarry played out a draw.
