Defending champions put daylight between themselves and chasing pack | SHC Odds

Mungret St Pauls secured promotion to go with their quarter-final place by virtue of a win over Ballybrown but they remain the outsiders for the championship

The race for the Daly Cup is down to six with the four quarter finalists and two semi-finalists confirmed.

Na Piarsaigh and Kilmallock are straight into the last four with the former topping the table following their win in a repeat of last year’s decider.

The Caherdavin outfit remain the bookies favourites, a position they’ve held throughout the championship and can be got at 8/11.

Despite the loss, Kilmallock’s odds have shortened to 11/4 from 3s.
