Diarmuid Mullins names Limerick U20 side to face Clare in Munster semi-final

Limerick take on Clare in the Munster U20 semi-final at the LIT Gaelic Grounds tonight from 8.05pm.

In his first championship game in charge of the side, Mullins has retained five of the players that started last year’s semi-final with Cork, namely, Colin Coughlan, Cormac Ryan, Jimmy Quilty, Aidan O’Connor and Bryan Nix.

Quilty captains the teams with Nix as vice-captain.

Limerick’s last win in the grade came in 2018 when they defeated the Banner in the quarter-finals. The Shannonsiders won Munster and All-Ireland titles in 2015 and 2017.

Clare defeated Kerry 2-20 to 0-15 in their semi-final last Tuesday.

The game throws in at 8.05pm and is live on TG4.
