Draw made for 2019 Fitzgibbon & Sigerson Cups

The draw for the 2019 Fitzgibbon Cup has been made today with reigning champions UL paired with UCC, NUIG and UCD in Group A. The trophy has been won by a Limerick college for the past five years.

LIT who are without Davy Fitz at the helm for the first time in seventeen years will be in group B with 2017 finalists IT Carlow, Trinity College and the Garda College.

Champions of 2016 and 2017 Mary I are drawn in Group D with DIT and Maynooth University and will be heavy favourites to progress.

Meanwhile, UL have been drawn to face DIT in Dublin in the opening round of the Sigerson Cup.
