Draws made for Limerick SHC, PIHC & IHC knockout stages

The fixtures for the knockout stages of Limerick’s top three hurling competitions have been made.

The group stages of the SHC and IHC came to a conclusion last weekend while there is still one round of the Premier Intermediate championship, although there is no quarter-final stage for that grade with the top four teams advancing to the semi-finals.

Limerick SHC

Patrickswell and Na Piarsaigh are straight through to the semi-finals.

On September 15 there is a quarter-final double-header in the Gaelic Grounds.

Kilmallock face newly Ahane with the winners to face Na Piarsaigh in the semi-final.

Doon play Ballybrown with the winners to play Patrickswell in the semi’s.

SHC Knockout Fixtures

QF: Kilmallock v Ahane in the LIT Gaelic Grounds at 2pm, 15/09

QF: Doon v Ballybrown in the LIT Gaelic Grounds at 3.45pm, 15/09

SF: Patrickswell v Doon/Ballybrown in the LIT Gaelic Grounds at 2pm, 22/09

SF: Na Piarsaigh v Kilmallock/Ahane in the LIT Gaelic Grounds at 3.45pm, 22/09


Limerick PIHC

In the Premier Intermediate Championship, the top four teams advance to the semi-finals with 1st playing 4th and 2nd meeting 3rd.

Kildimo Pallaskenry will top the table as only Mungret can catch them on ten points with KP having the head-to-head advantage. Mungret are guaranteed to finish either 2nd or 3rd.

Those two will avoid each other in the semi-finals with a host of teams battling it out for other knockout spots.

The final round of fixtures take place on September 14.

GS: Mungret St Pauls v Pallasgreen in Claughaun at 3.30pm

GS: Bruree v Blackrock in Kilmallock at 3.30pm

Limerick IHC

In the Intermediate Championship, Glenroe and Croom are straight into the semi-finals.

The quarter-finals will take place on September 15

QF: Newcastle West v Hospital Herbertstown in Caherconlish at 1pm

QF: Na Piarsaigh v Effin in Dromcollogher at 1pm

SF: Glenroe v Na Piarsaigh/ Effin in Bruff at 1pm

SF: Croom v Newcastle West/Hospital Herbertstown in Bruff at 2.45pm
