Earls in contention as Ireland issue squad update ahead of Paris trip

On Saturday, Ireland’s 50-17 win over Italy set up a final day date with France with a bonus point for Andy Farrell’s man to guarantee the title.

Ireland had to do without Keith Earls in Dublin but the Limerick man is in contention to travel to Paris with a decision on his availability to made over the coming days as he finishes his rehabilitation programme.

Garry Ringrose will not feature again for Ireland this year after picking up a facial injury.

Jamison Gibson Park is also doubt after suffering a hamstring niggle with John Cooney brought in as cover.

The Ireland squad returned to Carton House on Sunday and commence preparations for the France game today at the IRFU High Performance Centre on the Sport Ireland campus
