The Treaty United marksman is part of a three-man shortlist nominated for the individual award.
Enda Curran has received a nomination for the PFA Ireland First Division Player of the Year after his first season with Treaty United.
Curran joins Waterford FC’s Pheonix Patterson and Galway United’s Stephen Walsh in the running for the award after impressive performances with their respective clubs.
The 30-year-old guided Treaty United to a fifth-place finish in the Airtricity First Division and an FAI Cup semi-final where he fired home from the spot in their 2-1 defeat to Derry City.
Their season came to an end following a 7-4 aggregate loss to Waterford FC in the play-off semi-final but it’s been a successful term for the side nonetheless as the Limerick outfit reached the playoffs for the second successive season.
Curran was Treaty’s marksman in chief as he broke the 20-goal barrier, the first Treaty player to do so. He hit 13 goals in the League, fourth only behind Patterson (17), Walsh (15) and Barry Coffee (14).
The winner will be announced on the 19th of November.
