Robbie Hanley joined a plethora of his teammates when he was the first midfielder selected on the team. The industrious middle man was instrumental in helping Kilmallock to the title, his second SHC triumph.

Hanley beat out Limerick teammate William O’Donoghue, capturing 64% of the vote.

It completes the perfect year for Hanley who was part of the Limerick squad that retained their All-Ireland title in August.

He was joined in the midfield by Kilmallock counterpart Aaron Costello who was voted ontot he team after a stellar season int he middle of the park.

Perhaps better known for his exploits in the corner, Costello was a revelation at 9 for Kilmallock and a key reason in their county triumph.

Like Hanley, he was part of the Limerick squad who claimed All-Ireland honours earlier this year.

Costello beat out Killian Gavin (42%) and Mark Carmody (11%) to the position as he won (47%) of the vote.
