Final knockout places up for grabs in Senior, Intermediate and Junior Hurling Ranks | Final Round Fixtures

There are games to be played across all four of Limerick hurling’s top tiers this weekend, with knockout places at stake.

The knockout berths in the senior, intermediate and junior championship will all be known by the conclusion of this weekend as the final round games take place.

In the premier intermediate championship, we are down to the penultimate round as the battle for the top four heats up.

Na Piarsaigh face Kilmallock, which is a repeat of last year’s final, in the pick of the games in the Senior hurling championship, with the defending champions needing a win to secure their semi-final berth.

Ahane have a chance of reaching the knockout rounds, should they defeat Doon, and that game is perhaps the one with the most on the line this weekend while Doon know anything but defeat will be enough to secure a quarter final berth.

In group two, Mungret St Paul’s and Ballybrown control their own fate, knowing a win in their clash will seal promotion. Mungret are through to the quarters regardless but Ballybrown could be caught should they lose.

Garryspillane and South Liberties meet in a winner takes all clash with the loser relegated to the premier intermediate grade for 2024.

In the PIHC, Bruff and Effin lock horns in a spectacular tie, both sides level on eight points at the top of the group. All eight premier intermediate teams are in action over the weekend with just four places on offer in the penultimate pair of rounds.

Elsewhere, the final six in the intermediate championship and the quarter-finalists in the junior will be confirmed come Sunday evening.
