Limerick Celtics mens team made it five wins in a row with a 98 to 80 win over Waterford IT Vikings in Waterford on Sunday. It was basket for basket for three quarters of this fast paced game before the Limerick side got their noses in front and never looked back to take the vital league points.
Kevin Oberweiser top scored on 51 points followed by Carlos Hortelano on 25 points and James Murphy on 16 points. The Limerick team are back at home this Saturday for what promises to be another epic game when they take on Tolka Rovers from Dublin.
