Fixture confirmed for Crescent College’s Munster Senior Cup semi-final replay with CBC

The winners of next Thursday’s game will play against PBC after they came through their semi-final with St Munchins this afternoon.

Match details have been confirmed for the replay between Crescent College Comprehensive and CBC in the Pinergy Munster Schools Boys Senior Cup.

The fixture will take place on Thursday, March 2nd with a kick-off time of 2pm.

The two schools played out a thrilling 15-15 draw in Musgrave Park on Tuesday meaning the two sides will meet again in Thomond Park next week.

The winners of next Thursday’s game will play against PBC after they came through their semi-final with St Munchins this afternoon. The Cork school ran in five first half tries in a dominating display of rugby but were somewhat lucky to escape Musgrave Park with the win after Munchins reduced the margin to six points with time remaining.

But PBC held out for a 35-29 win and will look to go one better than 2022 when they were bested by Crescent College in the Thomond Park decider.

CBC are record winners with 31 titles, one ahead of PBC while Crescent College have won on 12 occasions, including last year.
