The All Ireland senior hurling preliminary quarter final tie between Limerick and Carlow will go ahead this Saturday July, 7 at Newtach Dr Cullen Park. The game will throw in at 7pm.
It will be the first time the two sides meet in the championship.
Limerick must face into the preliminary clash following their third place finish in the Munster round robin stages while Carlow overcame Westmeath in the the inaugural Joe McDonagh Cup final.
Meanwhile the All Ireland minor hurling series round 1 sees Limerick face Galway in Semple Stadium Thurles this Sunday, July,8 at 1pm.
Antoin Power’s side suffered Munster final heartbreak at the same venue last Sunday at the hands of Tipperary.
