FIXTURES | Battle for knockout places heat up with full set of hurling fixtures this weekend

There will be 56 teams in action this weekend as the hurling championships continue.

The fourth round of SHC, IHC and Junior A Hurling Championship will be played this weekend as well as the fifth round of the Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship.

Club hurling action returned in Limerick last weekend and threw up some cracking ties from all divisions, in a weekend where favourites SHC Na Piarsaigh secured their qualification spot with two to play.

They will face a struggling Adare side this weekend, who have it all to be play for sitting on just one point after three. Ahane are in the same boat with their only point coming from a draw between the two sides and they face the task of stopping reigning champions Kilmallock, who will want to further their chance of a semi-final place.

Doon and Patrickswell meet in this week’s live clash with four teams level on as many points in group two of the top tier.

There’s also fixtures in the Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship, IHC and the Junior A Hurling Championship to look forward to this weekend.
