Fixtures confirmed for 3Dental Ladies Senior Football semi-finals

The final pairing will be confirmed next Wednesday night with both semi-finals to be played.

Both of the 2022 3Dental Ladies Senior Football semi-finals will be played under lights next Wednesday with the time, date and venue confirmed for each.

Defending champions Monagea will meet Ballylanders in a repeat of last year’s final with Knocklong hosting the game that has an 8pm throw in time.

Last year, Monagea claimed the title with a 1-9 to 1-6 victory to earn a third title in seven years. Ballylanders defeated Old Mill in their quarter-final over the weekend.

Monagea have won each of their contests thus far, overcoming Drom Broadford, Old Mill and St Brigids. Ballylanders beat Feohanagh Castlemahon before falling to St Ailbes. They then recovered with the 1-10 to 0-6 win in the quarters.

At the same time, 2020 champions St Ailbes face Dromcollogher Broadford in Mountcollins. Ailbes were dethroned at the same stage last year while Drom Broadford retained their Intermediate title.

St Ailbes kickstarted their campaign with a comprehensive win over Feohanagh Castlemahon before sealing a place in the last four with victory against Ballylanders. Drom Broadford began life in the top tier with a defeat to the champions but recovered with successive wins over Old Mill and St Brigids to earn their quarter-final spot.
