FIXTURES | Details of Munster’s Champions Cup pool games confirmed

Munster are set to play both Wasps and Castres in two home and away fixtures between December 12th and January 23rd.

Munster have learned the details of their opening four pool fixtures of this year’s Heineken Champions Cup.

The 24 teams have been split into two pools with the highest ranking teams qualifying for the knockout stage which will consist of a Round of 16 on a home and away basis, quarter-finals and semi-finals, with the final in Marseille on 28 May 2022.

Clubs will only play against opponents from their own pool, with one club in each pool will having a bye during each round. The specific dates and times for the Round 5 fixtures on 8/9/10 April 2022 will be announced later in the season.

Wasps v Munster – Sunday, December 12th in Coventry Building Society Arena at 3:15pm.

Munster v Castres Olympique – Saturday, December 18th in Thomond Park at 8pm.

Castres Olympique v Munster – Friday, January 14th in Stade Pierre Fabre at 8pm (Irish time).

Munster v Wasps – Sunday, January 23rd in Thomond Park at 3:15pm.
