FIXTURES: Limerick Senior and Intermediate Hurling Championships return for knockout stages this weekend

The Limerick Hurling championships return this weekend with the quarter-finals to be played in the Senior and Intermediate grades..

The quarter-finals in the Limerick SHC are the standout fixtures of the weekend with a LIT Gaelic Grounds double header in store. Kilmallock take on South Liberties in the opener while Adare take on Patrickswell at 4pm this Sunday.

Garryspillane will face Kildimo Pallaskenry in the County Cup final in the same venue the night before as the competition returns after a year hiatus. Garryspillane were the last winners of the County Cup in 2019.

Elsewhere, the relegation finals have also been confirmed with Ahane meting Ballybrown in the Senior A and Blackrock and Monaleen in the B decider.

The final pairing in the Premier Intermediate Hurling Final will also be confirmed with both semi-finals down for decision. The relegation final will also take place this weekend with Bruff facing Murroe Boher.

Also down for decision are the Intermediate quarter-finals and relegation semi-finals.

The Junior A Hurling championship continues this weekend also with two rounds of games to play in the 24 team competition.
