FIXTURES | Limerick Senior, Intermediate and Junior Football Championship semi-finals confirmed

The draw for the Limerick Football Championship semi-finals were made on Monday evening.

In the Senior Football championship, defending champions Adare take on Galtee Gaels. Four years ago, Adare claimed their first ever title at this grade while the Gaels were winning Junior honours. The other semi-final pairs 2019 champions Newcastle West against Monaleen. The ties are to be played on Sunday October 10 or Saturday October 16 at 4pm.

The final of the SFC is set for the weekend of October 29-31 with time and venue to be confirmed.

Galbally and Na Piarsaigh will face off in the relegation final on October 16.

Last year’s losing finalists Gerald Griffins will face Rathkeale in the Intermediate semi-final while Kildimo Pallaskenry take on St Senans in the other last four tie. Those games will be played on Saturday October 16 at 4pm.

The final of the Intermediate championship is yet to be fixed.

Elsewhere the draws for the Junior Championship semi-finals were made.
