FIXTURES | Repeat of 2019 SHC final the pick of the bunch as all hurling championships return

All levels of hurling will return this weekend after nearly four weeks off.

This weekend will see the return of the club hurling championships after a three week break to allow for a pair of rounds in the football championship.

Only two rounds of action were played before the break with Na Piarsaigh and Ballybrown being the only sides to win both fixtures as they lead both groups in the SHC.

Both sides will be looking to build on their form and they’ll get the opportunity to do so this weekend. Na Piarsaigh face Patrickswell in group one in a repeat of the 2019 final while Ballybrown take on second placed Kildimo-Pallaskenry in a cracking fixture.

The other fixtures in group one see Adare face Kilmallock in Ballyagran while Doon and Ahane do battle in Caherconlish on Friday. Group two sees Blackrock face South Liberties and Garryspillane take on Mungret St. Pauls in Doon.

The Premier IHC also makes a return this weekend where no side has been able to string three wins from three in what’s shaping up to be a very tight championship.

Fixtures will also be played in the IHC and JAHC in an exciting weekend of hurling.
