Five changes to Irish side to face Scotland in Six Nations

After last weekend’s defeat to England in the Aviva, Joe Schmidt has made five alterations to his side to face Scotland in Murrayfield this Saturday.

Four of the five changes are as a result of injury with CJ Stander, Garry Ringrose, Devin Toner and Robbie Henshaw all ruled out through injury.

They are replaced by Jack Conan, Chris Farrell, Quinn Roux and Rob Kearney respectively. Josh van der Flier drops to the bench and is replaced by Sean O’Brien.

Ultan Dillane is the only other change to the 23 with the Connacht man named as back up to teammate Roux. Ireland face Scotland in BT Murrayfield on Saturday at 2.15pm. The game is live on Virgin Media One.
