Four Limerick players named on Hurling Team of The Week

Mike Casey, Cian Lynch, Gearoid Hegarty and Shane Dowling have all been included in the GAA Hurling Team of The Week.

Casey, for his dominant display in the fullback line where Limerick held Waterford to just 1-16, while Lynch had another influential afternoon in the middle of the park.

Gearoid Hegarty got Limerick up and running with the first goal of the game, while sharpshooter Dowling, announced his return to the starting lineup with a fifteen point return.

Players may be picked in positions they may not have been selected in for the match programme.
