RTE Sport are reporting today that GAA facilities may be allowed to open from June 8 with clubs permitted to apply to open running tracks.
The news will come as a bonus to patrons who have had to contend without GAA premises over the past couple of months.
The GAA is expected to provide an official update later in the week.
All GAA activites have been banned until July 20 at the earliest.
The government are also expected to release the specifics for phase two of the emergence from the lockdown which is scheduled for 8 June.
While initially this phase permitted the training of groups of four or less, the GAA have indicated the July date for such.
